I have a 5D 200TDI but I have seats from a 3D 300 TDI (1994). I was doing a quick fix to the diaphragm in my passenger's seat and I noticed that the seat base (the thing that is mounted to the floor with 4 bolts) is uneven what makes the whole seat tilted to the side.
I don't have access to the car right now so I cannot check if the floor is also uneven and this is on purpose but it looks kind of weird... If you look at the sides of the base you can see that one side is taller then the other. I've taken the seat out of the car a while ago but I think the floor is flat.
Is this how this base is supposed to look like? I'm worried because my seat bases were corroded and had been welded - I hope they didn't mess anything up.
