Hey guys, my previous underseat military fuel tank is up for grabs.
There’s no holes and no cracks in it. I changed it out as it was slowly leaking fuel out. I imagine it was a poreous leak, slowly weeping through and building up into drips.
It could be repaired with a few layers of tank sealant on the inside. Currently not got much in the way of pics but I’m on Hayling Island and you’re welcome to come have a look.
No idea on price, a new one is around £200 and I’d rather it went to a member that didn’t want to spend loads on a new tank. So whatever you think it’s worth, if it’s fair then I don’t really mind.
No cap, float or seal I’m afraid, I had to use them.
Below pics are of when I first took it out. It’s a little cleaner now, it’s been brushed down since these were taken. I’ll get some more later.
