ULEZ Compliance

Hi Guys

Hope everyone is doing well, I’m new to the forum as I’m in the process of purchasing my first Range Rover.

I just wanted to ask a question around the ULEZ in force in London and hope someone can shed light on this.

I have looked at a 2013 RR Autobiography 4.4 SDV8 and I’m very close to putting a deposit down on it. The only thing stopping me is the issue around the ULEZ in London.

I have checked the registration for the 2013 RR on the tfl/gov website and it says it is exempt from the ULEZ however upon checking the specs on another website it says the 2013 model is only a euro 5 and not the euro 6 needed for it to be ULEZ compliant.

Can someone please put me out of my misery here? Does anyone have a pre 2015 4.4 SDV8 who drives into London without a charge?

The way Sadiq Khan is going you would be better off buy a petrol one as diesel is the devil and he keeps moving the goal posts.

The ULEZ zone that’s now in place the minimum is: euro 6 for diesel, Euro 4 for petrol engines.
As we all know the zone is being enlarged in October 2021 to include areas basically within the south and north circular.

So my visits to Blackheath in my D1 won’t happen any more next year, fortunately I have a couple of cars that won’t be an issue.
