OK, before I start reading in detail what it says in RAVE, just a couple of pointers into replacing UJ's please.

Got new UJ's for prop shaft, how easy are they to do? Is it just remove circlips, knock 'em out and put new ones in, or is it unbolt drive flange, slide it orf splines and knock 7 bells out with a #1 universal removal tool?

Had a couple of beers, so sorry for the basic question ;)

uj replacement is straitforward, just requiring a good vice and a large hammer and a suitably sized drift to knock out the old ones, refitting does require a little patience.

Cheers fer that. Have vice, have suitable drift, have bank holiday weekend so patience not a problem!

Refitting will not be the reverse of removal, I promise :D

a word of warning if you a daft **** like me, i hospatalised myself while doing my UJ's, managed to mangle my finger while beatin the ****e out of the thing, if your not a daft **** i'm sure you'll be ok!!! but just thought i'd pass on my learning!!! :D

Nay probs, got a replacement shaft that is in better nick than current - will find out whether I have to do a hybrid job or not when we start :D
