Hi i put 2 new General Grabber AT3 tyres on the back of my FL2 a couple of month back.Only done around 2k miles on them. Now i,m thinking of getting another 2 fitted.Would i be wise to put the used ones on the front and the new ones to the rear or will it not make much difference.I have read on here that you need the better tyres on the rear.TIA

It's good practice to put new tyres on the rear. Although with all the electronic traction aids these day's. It's not as important as it once was. Unless you have a Freelander 1, which you don't. ;)

Before traction aids became common and standard equipment. It was better to have new tyres on the rear. This was avoid the rear breaking traction before the front. Particularly when driving at speed on a rain soaked road.
