Hi all hope someone will be able to give me what will be a simple and obvious answer. My tyres are 205r16 recips on modulars, I would like to put bigger tyres on 90 as these are lost in the arches. Question is what size can I fit on these rims or would even 235/75r16 require new rims. Thanks for any help

It would depend on the size of your rims which is stamped on the inside. Is that friendly enough?

Standard Defender fitment:
235/85R16
265/75R16
7.50 x 16
If your 'modulars' are aftermarket rims, then any of the above will fit them. If they are 8" wide, proper 7.50's may look a little stretched on them, but will fit.
Lots of other sizes, but these are all standard and work.
