tyres on a sport HSE

I have a sport TDV8 HSE which I bought new last year
I have just had its first service and the dealer remarked on tyre damage
The tyres are the standard pirelli scorpion 275/40 ZR20
Two of them have got several cuts in them probably from flints which go quite deep as they have only done 9000 miles virtually all on the road has anyone experienced similar problems?

My mate has a supercharged Sport with the same tyres as you and he had to replace 2 front tyres after 7000 miles, dont know if its the power of the beast that cuts them up or its just the Pirelli tyres them selfs
