Lee, yes this has been done to death but it's almost a rite of passage now.

Basically the biggest size without lift is 205/80/R16, HOWEVER, no fooker makes good tyres in that size. So I'd suggest getting 215/70/R16, either BF Goodrich or General Grabber AT.

There's lots of other in that size but not AT and certainly not as good. If you want AT tyres those two can't be beaten. I'm putting the BFG's on mine.

The problem is usually clearance between the tread edge and the spring cup on the front struts. I don't think lifting the suspension changes that at all.

To a lesser extent there is a possibility of rubbing against the plastic inner arch liner on the rears

I know what the maximum sizes are before it would become necessary to fit spacers, but what sizes need a lift is a different matter.

As said someone should be along soon to clarify the situation.

Have a look here I don't know what size is standard on the 15". But I'm sure there's something. Again BFG and GG should be available in this size.

We should write a guide to AT tyres really but I'll not fooking sticking my head above the trench for that one.

i was thinking of these as i only do low milage and there only on for 3 mounths anyway
195/80R15 94Q TL INSA TURBO SAHARA

I've heard very good things about Insa Turbo, they are not like the remoulds of old they actually work from what I hear. If you're only doing low milage and you don't mind the additional road noise then they are ideal for you :).
