Tyre size help

I was looking to fit a set of 265/75 R16 tyres to my 1972 series 3 SWB.

However I have also seen a set of 33x12.50 R15 that I like.

I can understand that these are on smaller diameter rims but what are the comparisons on the tyre sizes.

Are they about the same size?

No problem, and :welcome2: to landyzone. Just please don't ask any questions about engine conversions. there are even more threads about that than tyres, and they all ask the same thing. But other than that, hope you find all the help and advice you need.
