Hi i have just bought a FL2 and there was just the tyre sealant kit came with it.I have now purchased a spare wheel a jack and a good wheel brace. My question is if i have a slow leak like on the rim could i just put a little of this sealent in each tyre to keep them at a consistent 32psi .Or do you have to use the whole bottle on the one wheel ?????

I don't think it's intended for that purpose. Correctly fitted tyres and valve assemblies don't normally leak. Tyre pressures do fluctuate due to heating and cooling in normal usage. A sealant won't prevent punctures either. It's best if tyre pressures are checked routinely.

to be fair you can get a bad rim on alloys.i do check my tyres regularly it was just a thought as a precautionary measure only

Easier and more reliable to take the wheel to a decent independent tyre place and have them re-seat the tyre. Alloy rims build up corrosion and cause slow leaks - this needs cleaning off.

My local place charges £12 to refit the tyre, including balancing. Do NOT go to Kwik Fit as they are crap and rip you off.

i,m thinking of having the wheels refurbed anyhow so i suppose that will sort the rims out. Thanks

The real problem of tyre goop comes when you have to repair a tyre properly. The goop stops a patch repair from working, so the tyre ends up as scrap. This is a shame if the tyre is only half worn.
