Was interested to see how many people run there Land Rover (tubed tyres) with tyre flaps
It's supposed to protect the inner tube from the rivets etc in the wheel so I'm told.
I've taken a good few tyres of, but never come across any flaps around the inside of the wheel.
Any ideas where you can purchase said item? eBay maybe.?

Never heard of such a thing. I ran ancient BFGoodrich Trac Edges with inner tubes but never had any problems with rubbing on the rivets. Sounds like same principle as a bicycle wheel. I'd be interested to know if such thing exists. It would have to be very tight so it doesn't slip inside the tyre?

You would find them in military split rim wheels in time gone by,to prevent pinching of the tube in the join between the two halves. No point in a solid rim.
