Hi Folks
My 1994 Classic has been worrying me as occassionally it would wander appallingly at speed requiring steering correction similar to if you have a blow out.
Have had all susual suspects checked by the very excelent AJD in Broxbourne but nothing wrong with ball joints, bushes, air suspension etc.
At the weekend I did 700 miles and have spotted what is happening. Where there are any significant wear lines on the road the car tramlines and followed the irregularities - I've had motorbikes that do this but never a car.
It has 3/4 worn Avon Ranger tyres all round - does anyone have any experience of these or suggestions of a better make - it spends its life on road racking up 300/400 miles each week (on gas thank god)?
