I fitted the twin choke weber 32/36DGV available from Webcon to my 1971 2 1/4 series 3 (unleaded head conversion). Much improved acceleration ( I use the term loosely ;-) but suffer some backfire, sooty exhaust and 600 yds to the gallon. I already reduced the primary and secondary jet sizes one size lower than originally supplied but still think it is running too rich. Has anyone fitted this carb ?
