Hi, Checkin a few things on my 110. When I take the air filter out theres a bit of oil in the plastic pipe goin to Turbocharger, Oil seal? Haynes says you can't change oil seals as the Turob is a sealed unit. That right??

yeas but the pipe from the air box is obviously on the intake side of the turbo so it cant be the turbo as this blows towards the engine. it is probably just from your engine breathing a bit. the engine breather goes back into the airbox. most land rover engines do this as they get older. take the oil filler cap off when its warmed up and see if it breathes from it. Nothing to worry about unless its really bad then it probably needs rings and the bores honing.
my old prima in my series used to breathe so much i had to put the breather into a bottle to catch the oil. normally about a pint a day!

lol yeh had the same prob on my old 2.5 td took breather off then put pada pop bottle on it just to catch excess oil worked fine plus filter lasts longer...
