Sorry for the spam, but some of you may be interested in popping along
to this. I have included some snippets from the press release below.
For further info please check out the website

It costs £10 per car to get in, but there is more to see than just the
competition. I'll be around for both days so come and say hello at
HQ.

The Goodyear MSA British Off Road Championship, which represents the
pinnacle of off road motorsport in the UK, returns to Eridge Park on
Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September for round four of the 2003
championship.

Last year the Eridge Park event opened the championship in fine style,
but unfortunately the event was held behind closed doors. This year
the event is open to spectators and the championship has teamed up
with Eridge Park and local radio station KMFM for the Eridge Park
Motorshow. KMFM are promoting the event and are giving away tickets in
advance. They are also bringing the KMFM Roadshow to the event.

The competition itself sees an all new five mile course at the
Tunbridge Wells venue. The organisers claim that Eridge Park holds
some of the best off roading terrain in the South East. Much of the
course will be easily accessible to spectators to watch all the
action.

Reigning champion Richard Kershaw with his monster five litre V8
Amaterati buggy leads the 2003 championship following wins at each of
the opening rounds, but with only a little over half of the season
complete and with two rounds left the championship is still wide open.
Second placed Tim Dilworth, the young pretender to the crown, has
proved he has the pace to challenge for the outright honours, but is
yet to win a round outright and Alec Lofthouse has shown impressive
consistency throughout the year with a series of third places.

Nik Ward in a Suzuki Vitara leads the production car category over
Mitsubishi driver Colin Read (Mitsubishi Shogun Pinin), and Land Rover
Defender leads Discovery inthe modified production section with Tony
Walmsley leading Andrew West.
