Hi there,

Myself and my friend both have Rangies and use them for both on road and off road pursuits, including a bit of RTV trailing. In doing these trials we do fairly regulalry rim off a tyre!

We have been thinking of putting tubes into the tyres, BF Goodrich Mud Terrians on classic alloys. However we have been mixed messages from various people saying yes no problem and other people saying no thats not a good idea on the alloys, you must have steels.

Could I ask anyone with any experience of this to give me and my friend their opinion.

Thanks for all your help.

Jason

I run tubeless radials with tubes in on rostyle steel rims, i have no bother but some people do as some tyre brands have a strip inside the tyre that wears the tube into holes. Aren't too sure about the alloy wheels tho.
