Good evening. can someone please tell me what the measurement for opening is for rear door on the tub. At the moment got tub off series 3 swb. and doing repairs, and found a large difference between measurement at bottom tub opening and opening at top of tub were galvanised cappings are. I have no door yet as it was damaged and rotted so was scrapped. Thanks. Steve
 
Would love to help but away from my old gal at the minute, no doubt one of the others will be here to help shortly. :)
 
My tub is outside and over grown atm but I will try and un-earth it tomorrow and have a measure up for you, I want to try and get it in soon anyway so probably will make it easier for me when I come to getting it in the garage
 
Not sure as being hand made they are all over the place.
If you can estimate where the outer most securing brackets go on the back (you know the ones that stick up off the rear crossmember with two bolt holes in each) then these are 51.5 inches apart (to their outside edge)
Once this distance is established the bottom of the door opening will be as it should be. The top of it will then have to be adjusted to suit.

One of the guys on series 2 forum did this drawing which has had door opening width added 880mm.
Not exactly certain where he measured from will check mine today.
Been out and measured
Rear door 35.5" wide
Edges of seal lip ie opening width 34.5"
outer panel opening 36"
