Unbolt bottom, unbolt top, remove old shock, insert new shock (if high
pressure gas, you probably want to leave tie wire on), bolt top, (here is
where you cut tie wire while holding onto shock to let it expand slowly and
line up bottom bolt), then bolt bottom.

Took my about an hour to change all four. Simple as can be compared to
struts that the vehicle manufacturers are sticking on all of their cars
nowadays - those are almost impossible for a owner to do himself without a
spring compressor.

The Trooper is a breeze by comparison.
