Not just TRO'd a Byway, but also a footpath, with, in my opinion, a reasonable reason this time!

CYNGOR SIR CEREDIGION COUNTY COUNCIL
(FOOTPATHS 14/77 & 14/79 & BYWAY OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC 14/76 NANT YR ARIAN PONTERWYD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2013
NOTICE is hereby given that Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council intend, not less that seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any person on foot and in vehicles from proceeding along the length of the public rights of way known as:
Footpath 14/77 from SN7210:8200 SN7233:8152
Footpath 14/79 from SN7223:8334 SN7231:8236
Byway Open to All Traffic 14/76 from SN7188:8129 SN7338:8323
The Order will be in place to allow for clear felling of Larch trees to restrict the spreading of phytophthora ramorum.
Alternative Routes
On foot follow clearly signed route through the Nant yr Arian site.
In vehicles follow A44 to Ponterwyd, then follow first unclassified road heading north from the village towards Dinas Reservoir.
The proposed order will continue in force until the works are completed.
It is intended that the works will commence on the 1st October 2013.
Where appropriate temporary traffic regulation orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding six months; this can be extended by applying to the Welsh Government.
