Hello All,

Appologies for asking a question I know has been asked before but I am stuck. I have a 2007 L322 3.6, it has been off the road for 18 months and have just manged to get it all road worthy again and this has happened: Transmission Fault Limited Gears, HDC Fault, Parking Brake Fault.

The last work that I did on it was to change the rear bushes and a rear caliper, but it has been driven a number of times without issue since that.

The battery is new and fully fully charged, brake lights working, no signs of corrosion on the earth cables, the box where the TCM is housed is clean and dry but there are a lot of DTCs which will not go away: I would be greatful for any pointers please:

According to my fairly old meter 12v with the engine off and 13.8v with it running.
I have tried with jump leads to another vehicle with the engine running as well, left it connected for best part of an hour yesterday, didn't make any difference.

Maybe it's not a battery problem, but low voltage is notorious for causing problems. 12 volts engine off is an almost flat battery, 13.8 engine running is too low should be nearer 14.7.

Thank you, I will put it on charge again and also see if I can get a better meter to check it with. I have checked against another vehicle that is constantly on a trickle charger and it was 12.5/13.5 respectively, similar size battery, so it may be my meter.
 
Have the battery tested, the capacity can't be checked with a multi meter. It may read12.6v you can't check the CCA. If the battery has been drained previously it could also be damaged. :)

Thank you all for the advise.

What I hadn't pointed out on my post was that I am trying to sell the Range Rover and the errors first happened when someone came to view and far from being put off by the issue they tried to buy it off my for 1/3 the asking price. I have always been suspicious they had done something.
Since my post I have had it into my local independent who were only really helpful in relieving me of money and misdiagnosing the issue. The problem was eventually resolved by continually socialising the problem.

The scammers had partially disconnected one of the boost sensors. As this was under the engine cover it was not obvious, but as soon as I pushed it back into place all the errors disappeared.
