transferring series 3 running gear onto a series2a

been pricing up various parts needed to put my series 2a back together and just wondered would I see any benefit from transferring parts from a series 3 I need new swivel housings not sure on the state of the axles springs are shot brakes will all need replacing plus a new wiring loom I saw a series 3 the other day and wondered if it would be a straight swap ( S2a chassis and bulkhead solid ) and more importantly would it be worth it
any advice would be welcome

all series 2 and 3 parts are interchangeable, yes its worth it, go fer yer life

Daff i have
11 drums
11 backing plates compleat with cylinders
servo + master cylinder
balance valve
and asorted odds and sods to make a compleate system.
If you want them pop up some time and make me a offer.
I'm to be found under a landy most Friday nights.
