want some trailors, not really ring hitch,

want a big one to collect pallets on, will look at small ones,

within 100 miles of leicester

why will i need a tachograph, mate im only liecensed to tow 700kg !, aint going to stop me though, why should some nob that passed in 99 beable to town 3.5 ton ! bastarrddss !!!!

If you're collecting pallets as part of a business the 700kg would take it over 3500kg GVW so you'll need a tachograph, it's **** but don't ignore it, they can go as far as confiscating the vehicle if they stop you and you haven't got one

If they're somebody else's pallets you're moving you'll need an operators licence as well

I've just been through it all, it's a right pain in the arse

It's still a trailer full of pallets numb nuts...

If you're not licenced, Insured, and not prepared to do the above you deserve to be caught and locked up.

It's no joke with a train weight of 3.5tonnes and no insurance should anything happen to you or god forbid someone else.

Get yourself tested for the full trailer license, Get operator insurance, get business and liability insurance. Get business insurance on your landrover. It's not a game. It's not something you can make a quick buck out of.

Don't want to do the tests / pay for insurance. Don't do the work.

oh im insured for all that through nfu i believe, the big tarp was a joke,
im only moving pallets for my own + family use, but yes will be getting my full trailor liecense soon

Trailer test isn't that easy you know! I went on a 2-day course at MIRA (paid for by work) and even they said that wasn't enough to pass your test - you'd need much more practice

It's a full on driving test all over again, with a trailer on the back, plus the trailer manoeuvres...I haven't yet done my test as work decided that if I failed the test they wouldn't pay for it, wouldn't source a suitable trailer, and wouldn't give me any more time to practice either!

haha right ok, thats a ball ache as well then, why should pre 2000 people be able to tow a bigger one ! not fair at all !
