Trailer electrics - where from?

Hey,
I own a defender 90 300TDI, 1995 and it has a towar fitted - however no electrics!
I take it due to the presence of a trailer lamp on my dash that lights briefly when indicating that I must have a loom connector somewhere!
If so where and what type of elextrics kit can I buy to connect a simple set of trailer lights.

on my defender there is a plastic multiway connector at the rear drivers side of the car. Sort of up behind the lights.
Because your car is pre 98, it wont have the multiplug connector, but the wires are probably in the same place...
