evenin all,
had to fit a new track rod after the old one first sheered the bolt on removal:mad: , an to top it all off after about 20 mins over a blow tourch to release the track rod end, and the thread from inside the track tube totally stripped:mad:   ,
come to set it up 2day, set it exactly as it says in the rave manual an when i tighten the bolts to 40nm the cotter pin won't clear the hole, it needs to be tightend more to go in.
question is would it be ok to tighten up more or should i just take off the washers, or just buy smaller pins, it is a paddocks part too, if that makes any difference.
thanx

Aye give it a nip, if it's not to far off the hole if you slacken it do it that way but double check em in a month or so. Slap some assembly paste on the tapers as well, an some one will be able to get em off again in five years time.
