Track rod query

Hi Guys- Can you P38 owners help me out??
Replacing the front brake pads today on my 4.6HSE, I noticed that the track rod on the L.H. side has a slight bend in it about 12" in from the ball joint. To save confusion with the drag link, the track rod is the one located at the rear of the hub whereas the drag link is at the front of the hub.
Can you have a look at your car and let me know if it is supposed to be bent or straight. Have had a look on the EPC and the sketch of the rod appears straight but it's only a sketch after all.
Replaced all the tyres about 3 months ago and they had done over 50000 miles-the fronts had even wear and the new tyres are the same so I feel the tracking is o.k.

yes mate they do have a gimp in them i replaced mine a couple of months ago .

Suppose the bods that drew up the EPC had only got straight rulers!!
