Towing electrics?

The S3 we have just bought has recently had a dixon bate towbar fitted although the previous owner didnt wire the electrics up. They're all there, the socket and length of cable, neatly wrapped around the towbar.
Any of you fellas give me a clue about how to wire them up so I can pull our trailer, or is it mucho agro, which is possibly why the po couldnt be arsed?

its a **** o pith on an S3 - do a search on towing - It has been covered before and there are diagrams showing wot colours do etc.
