tow straps

Hi guys, I'm keen to have a go at some pay and play days but don't have any tow ropes. Where is a good place to get them from and is there any difference in different materials?

Hi mate, i got straps as opposed to ropes for free. There's a crane company near me and they have to throw them away once their 3 years old or so. I go there every month or so and pick up a box of them for mates now. they are rated to 21tons or something so easily strong enough. Be careful if you get a kinetic, a lot of people don't like them and they can be very dangerous. Also make sure your recovery points are strong or fit some.
