Tornado Chip for the V8

There's a guy on ebay.de who listed a tornado chip (which he says is for the petrol V8s) but didn't get any bids. He wanted 200 Euros to start so that may be why! I'm watching if he relists or might contact him to make an offer but first, anybody here with any experience of these or indeed of any tuning to the V8? I should add I've kept my P38 absolutely unmodified so far, as I do all my cars. I'm really not into "pimped rides" of any sort. On the other hand its hard to deny that she's a hefty lady and pretty underpowered so I'm just a-thinkin about this chip fadoodle.

ps. the write-up in rangerovers.net seems almost too positive?

Hi Rasheed 200 euros doesn't sound alot for the Tornado chips, there should be a pair of them. The guy that sells these is Mark Adams they cost around £700.00 new. Have a look at RPI engineering web site for more info. I am considering buying these for my 4.6 but dont think that I would chance a second hand set.

Thanks v much for the heads up. Looking through the RPI site now and also, given what you've just said, wondering now whether the price is too low!

BTW, why not second hand? Do they wear out?
