i wouldnt put that in a defender, it'll get soaked!!!
Hi, just to let you know these kits are universal and powered by the ciggy lighter. So will fit any car. My Dad has a sat nav system as his job requires lots of traveling around the country. 
If your traveling lots this would be a good purchase. (are you really going to be traveling far distances in a defender?) If so this would justify the purchase. I would also use the internet to search for the cheapest price possible. Using froogle, kelkoo etc
