Finally, today I am;

a) setting the heights with the EAS software and Datatek 's lead. Been looking forward to completing this task, since I now understand the issue in regard to recharging the air. e.g leave the door open and run the engine for awhile between each height setting.

b) removing the white connectors in the footwell that have broken pins.

c) Fitting a Walnut handbrake handle. If I can workout how to remove the old leather one!

A good day ahead!

Rach

So you're going to

a) get it up and make sure that it stays up

b) wrap it in some tight fitting rubber

c) grasp it firmly and twist and tug

lucky car - have a good day :D

No need to open the door and re-charge between each setting, just leave it idling and it will keep the tank topped up nicely.

Will do, Thank you.

Rach
With the doors and tailgate closed closed, open the passanger front window, drape lead throw window and laptop on bonnet...this way with engine running, doors closed and etc will keep it topped up, compressor running and height changes possible! :D

Well no update. So what happened.

Oh goodness! As I say, can't boil an egg! Rain stopped the calibration, today looks good.

Was trying to put the wood handle on the handbrake (yes I put grease on it). Now it's stuck. So do I try to remove it, or bang it on further with a rubber hammer. Only about an inch, from being on correctly.

Did you clean it up first? If you can get it back off try a little sand up.
well as you only tap very gently , rubber hammer good girl:)

Ha ha! EAS nearly sorted. Went wrong at the end. I did not hit Stop in in the software! Doah! Need to do it all over again!

Could not get the handbrake wood grip on. Needs more sandpaper on the inside!

Did replace one of the 4 connectors behind the kick panels in the front.

So not all bad, could have gone better!
