Tires and lift

Loads of money!!!!

Only joking. Look to spend between £350 - £600 on springs and shocks with 2" - 3" lift. Will need to extend brake flexi hoses to axles. If you go for cheap white 8 spoke wheels you can get them for £25 each and £25 for Colway remould tyres. (thats the cheap option) you can spend as much as you want for wheel and tyre packages. If you go for very big wheels, you need to start thinking about cutting away wheel arches which it looks like the one in your picture may have had done at the rear, and also adjustable radius arms etc. to compensate for different castor and camber. This shouldn't be necessary if you are only going for a two inch lift.

Snorkels are about £175. Winch and bumper about £6-800. Rear bumber £120-150.

You can go on spending forever!! :)

The one in the picture does look good.

Lobbit infrontofme!
Think the move to USA may cost too much....
Don't forget the axles catch first. My 100"sits lower than it should but has articulation better than most coillers. And no weight. (well, compared to Discos etc)
Guarantee my 100" out-performs that both off and on-road. Can't do the school run, though (three seats).....

Try not to go much past 4" of lift with suspension without modifying the steering geometry. It will cause serious wheel wobble on road and will scuff out tyres. I have 4" of suspension lift on my classic and its ok, but a friend of mine has the same lift on a 110 which wobbles about like hell when you hit a bump at speed on the road.
