well can anyone give me any ????
ive put in a head liner to try to keep out the noise, and a radio for some entertainment thats about it really.
(im going to be traveling from the stoke/crewe area down to dartmoor)
ive also been doing some genral servicing and i looked in the radiator and it had quite allot of crap in it, so i put water through the radiator and it seems to be cleaner now, is there any way of like fully flushiong the system and ive also seen those special chemicals that you can put in to help clean the insides up, do they work???
and i know that its not organised very well but help will be much appriceated :)
thanks ben

well ive got some and serously considered using them but is it legal to drive and have them on ? because like you would be more likley to miss emergency verchials etc ?

also forgot to add, when you say line the doors, do you mean like get some door cards or something ? and if so where do i get them?

pillows for your arse, pain killers for your back, ear defenders and book an appointment at an osteopath for when you get there.

hmm. motoroil, coolant fluid etc. i`ve been driven series many times about 500-800km in finland... when there was like 20/25celcius minus  sorry my bad english... and i bought heaadphones wich has radio builded inside, it´s much better than radio in series 4 long travelling. hope that helped?

Let me know how you get on and what you learn along the way, as Me and the missus have decided to drive one of our old Series 3 diesels around spain and portugal next year -- neither of our landies has ever been more than 30 miles in a single trip since we've had them!!!

well ive been from the crewe area to whitby in yorkshire, only problems really were i did it in the winter so it was cold, watch the engine temp, and when you have to pull in for fuel open the bonnet to keep ur engine cool, almost forgot... it can get very noisy !!!

if you are going on a long journey in your series theres a good chance the emergency vehicles will be for you anyway:p:p:D

i used earplugs in my denzel s3 when the exhaust fell orf and to be fair i probably wouldnt hear emergency vehicles with an exhaust on noisy old tractor that she is

Try it in a V8  my ears hurt after 5 mins and I had ear muffs on

Mind you it was running off the headers
