Hi Guys,
I currently have an issue with a timing chain tensioner on a TD5 from a 2001 Y discovery.
I've just finished a top end rebuild after broken dowels caused head gasket failure, wanted to renew the timing chain tensioner just so as it was done but I have both part numbers listed from land rover 000080 and 000090 in front of me but neither is correct????
It's most like 000090 with the 27mm hex head but the threaded section of the tensioner is different, the thread bottoms out before the copper washer is touching the timing cover/head.
Has anyone ever experienced this or have any clue?
