Hi all,i have a freelander td4 kalahari 03 plate with 93000 miles on the clock.Over the past couple of months when i change fom 1st to second gear i get a thump coming from the back of the car,if i change gear really gently sometimes it cant be heard,i would appreciate any suggestions as to what it could be.Please help!

Will be the rear diff mounts. There's a pair of side mounts (one either side) and a central one. Get the 3 mounts from eBay to save some cash over the dealer parts.

We had to drop the rear subframe to gain access to the diff, then found one mount point (OSF of the 4 bolts) had corroded around the hole which was causing a rattling sound. Removed the old metal and popped a new plate on there, all good now!
