Hello. We bought our Freelander 1.8 Xi SW back in early October this year. This is for my wife to cart around the dog and do runs down to her relatives in Paignton. We've both been really impressed with it.
You want a laugh?? Well my wife has always been anti 4x4's saying they're ok if you live in the sticks but living n Bournemouth they're not necessary. HA!! When we were looking for an estate car back in September we visited several garages. At one of them she said 'ohh that looks nice' and asked the salesman if she could get in.'Oh I like this a lot, nice and high up just like our Voyager. What is it?' Then I told her, 'Its a Land Rover Freelander'. She looked surprised but suddenly the 4x4 thing wasn't a problem.
May I say how nice it is to fund a club that doesn't ask for twenty odd quid to join as the other L.R. clubs seem to.
Bye for now, Nick
