Hello all,
I have been looking for some Boost alloys for my 90 and stumbled across these: BOOST | 16x7 Boost Five Spoke Deep Dish Alloy for Disco 1 and RRC.

Does anyone have any thoughts on or experience of the quality of these wheels?

I know that Britpart generally don't have the best reputation but I'm sure I read somewhere that their Boost alloys come from the same factory as genuine Land Rover wheels. This may or may not be true but, at the very least, I don't imagine that Britpart manufacture the wheels themselves, so they can't be that bad.... right?

Thoughts/opinions/words of wisdom, anyone?

Thank you,

Chris

They can't be all that for 70 quid each. No way would they be OEM for that price. Britpart drums aren't usually round so who knows what the wheels will be like?

Hmmm... Not exactly the vote of confidence that I had hoped for, but I guess that's to be expected with anything from Britpart.

They are so (relatively) cheap that it's tempting to buy one just to see what they are like!

Not sure if its me not looking right but how do you know they are Britpart?

To be honest, I thought that it said Britpart somewhere on that page but its more an assumption based on the price, the fact that Paddocks seem to only sell Britpart stuff (based on everything I've ever purchased from them), and that they are identical to these:

Alloy Wheel 16x7 Boost Style RRC503400MNH Island 4x4 - Specialists in Land Rover and Range Rover Parts and accessories for all models. UK and worldwide mail order.

Well as with most specialists they sell parts from lots of suppliers.

Fair point.

For that price, I'm amazed that nobody has tried them. I guess I'm going to have to take a risk and hope for the best!
