measured my Freelander today and it's a clear 1.5 to 2inches higher than my mates(both unladen)
fronts are same height..checked receipts and it seems a couple of years ago the rear springs were replaced!! I'm guessing some HD type were fitted for towing perhaps?! wonder if I can fit same springs to front now!

I have a lifted freebie...at the back only! oooer

the rear, as that is what is non standard.
You will have adjusted the camber angle, so that it is more positive (not good).
Here is an (extreme) example that shows what a lifted rear end can do to the camber....

For a simple explanation read Camber.

That is, unless camber adjustment pins have been fitted as well?
see Eibach Front Camber Bolts - Land Rover Freelander 00-06 | eBay UK (I know they are front [can you get rear?])

ah, camber...now I understand your angle )
I have looked at the camber and it seems spot on square/perpendicular to the road surface..
Looking at the attached there are 3 different springs availabl for the freelander - I cant see the colours on mine so cant guess which were fitted!

I know that on a greenlane run my backbox and towbar dont dig in nowhere near as much as the standard TD4 my friend has.

I might look into bringing the front up a little as im sure the elevated angle will be putting more weight/strain on the front brakes as the fonrt wheels have more fulcrum force on them.

anyone looked intot the different spring sizes/colours?
