The Loch Ness Classic and Vintage Car Tour
Dear All,
The Mrs and I went to this last year and had a great day out. I was made aware of it by @wattfield who posted about it on Landy Zone. It's a close friends 60th birthday bash on the same day this year and so we can't go.
The whole event was extremely well organised and very professionally ran. Your Landy doesn't need to be old (Vintage) as they put them in to the 'Classic' category anyway. Which they are, of course.
The route around Loch Ness and the surrounding hills and other lochs is superb and very scenic.
The day starts with a meeting where all the cars are parked up in their own allocated bay, so you can have a look around the other vehicles and chat to other owners. there's a briefing about the route where specific relevant info is given as well as a pack of info and directions for the route. You can just take your time, stop off, wherever, for lunch and there is a sweeper van with mechanics in it in case you break down.
Here are a few pictures from last year.
I would very much recommend it as a crackin event to take part in.
