The forgotten joys of old motor ownership

Having only had new cars in the last 10 years i had forgotten what its like to drive down the road and find one my indicators had packed up' on getting home i had a look and found this

Wonder why I've got no earth to the bulb. Had to drill out screws to get the lamp off.

Well get the screws so hot they pull through the plastic Ground off the rust and slapped on some Hammerite for now and alls working great.
Whilst there thought I'd check the other light, all ok except no brake lights luckily just a switch adjustment. Don't think I'm ever gonna be bored with this motor

grind them flat and they will punch out, new lamps are cheap,might be worth getting a set and screws etc

yeah i think thats the plan, replace all of them, the fog lamp is rotton as well need to get spending some dosh

Still... number plate stayed on!

I'd be more worried about the state of the cross member that's under that checker plate

I fitted ex military lamps to mine, no more problems.

It is a bit cruddy but getting a new one on there soon
