The story is the rangie was given to his 17 year old son as a "here, take this and be responable with it" type of gift.
Lad trying to impress some lass for knobbing, got it stuck on the beach, tried various methods of getting it unstuck but failed.
Tide came in and rangie spend a night underwater, the lights were on for several hours by account of witnesses.
Rangie recovered next morning and sold on to someone else, Was a TD6 HSE spec model on a 52 plate i remember.
Don't know if the guy got a sympathy shag or not.. lol
