Thanks Guy`s and Girls,
Always read with intrest and have learnt loads so far. I have a disco td5 es auto 2001, 65k and had some problems with power loss after head gasket was renewed (Andies Landies in Coventry) 6 weeks later, air flow meter and allsorts of trips to a main dealer`s computer, told me possible gear box or engine managment system fail,and still no power £700.Took to garage I got it from a year earlier `All Terrain Bulkington` who fell over backwards to help loan car the lot, but still no power. They gave me number of someone they call the wizard who lives in Nuneaton, within 5 hours he had it sussed Ingectors, replaced with 2nd hand ones £400 all in. Damn thing pulls like a train better thn when I first had it.
Willing to share wizards number to local people of Cov. Great site keep up the good work.

ttam lleb, that is good, I've always religiously pulled down the head every two years to the specifications in the workshop manual. this is especially important on diesel engines, I also add acetone, at the rate of about 2ml per gallon of diesel, or vegetable oil fuel. to help clean the injectors.
I have had no trouble so far, touch wood.
