My 2001 Petrol Vogue has been diagnosed 'terminal' by my local garage after dying on me a couple of weeks back. I'm told I have 2 options. Take the engine totally to bits to find the source of the clanging and maybe (Mr P38 say very probably) need to replace the engine, or just bite the bullet and replace it anyway.
Option 2'll save on the labour cost but it's down to me to source a running 4.6 petrol engine as the garage can't find one. Any help on getting my hands on a decent replacement would be greatly appreciated.
