we have a disco 2 TD5 and the electrics seem to have decided to act up big time, central locking is u/s,i use fob and even if all doors and tailgate are shut it sounds horn once and doors remain unlocked.now when I start the engine, the ignition lights up fine, glow plug light goes out ,I hardly move the key and the engine fires up and a heck of a noise like a turbo noise starts as though the starter has not disengaged, does all this sound like relays?,what relays are best to purchase?is there anywhere I can buy all of them to replace?not bothered about expense as we bought her as we love Landies and when we retired we promised ourseves we would have one ,thanks and best wishes for Christmas and stay safe,Bob

Sounds to me like a problem with the ign barrel shorting the starter curcuit some how. The more knowlegable will be along soon.

Like this!
Wionder if OP has searched for how to take the barrel off etc? (Plenty on here and elsewhere.)
If fob ain't working it could be a faulty receiver, provided the fob is blinking when he actions the button.
If he is a bit of use with a meter he should be able to sort this I'd a thort!
Best of luck Baffled!

Sounds like 2 different faults to me. Does the interior light go off when you shut each door? Do lock mechanisms work freely on each door?
