td5

hi there people i'm new to all this..............so bear with me. i'm looking at get a disco td5 but would like to now if you can chip them. being an x cosworth man i no a littel about chipping because mine was running 380bhp. but have family and caravan now so i need something that fits the job now. thanks for any help

hi turbo yes you can chip them have a look at www.twistedperformance.co.uk

or try in the landy mags almost everybody is doin chips for all these machines you ned to have a good look around i dont know how true this is but i think its common knowledge that the td5 is a bit on the gutless side of life when it comes to high top end perfomance and is worse in traffic but i dont own one to say so.
also give www.jeremeyjfern.co.uk is in derbyshire he builds all the dakar rally machines and is well known for diesel performance ,they have an artical about chiping vehicles in the latest landrover owner international mag is worth a read.

Jocking aside here ( IF A FUEL MAP IS MAPED CORRECTLY IT DONT MATTER WHO YOU BUY IT OF ) There is only 1 CORRECT fuel map and as long as the tuner has done the mapping correctly EVERY one who sells chips will almost definetly be selling the same thing .


btw since you are a cossy man i do a +110bhp chip for those
