Hi Folks,

On the rare occasions when I can now afford to drive my 99 TD5 I find I
can't start after stopping after the car has got hot. The starter does not engage,no sound at all,but the dash lights come on.They do not dim when I turn the ignition key. After a long period it will spark up first turn of the key.
Anyone else have this problem or have an idea of what the problem is,or have I "discovered" another unique fault. It's driving me nuts this car,but I love it really.

Could It Be A Winding Breaking Down In Starter Which Opens Up When Hot From Engine Heat.
**** Iam On Caps Sorry To Shout
