td5 turbo end float ?

Hi all

had to fix a sticky wast gate today , and set the actuator length while I was there I checked the end float on the turbo core ..

How much end float , before a new turbo is needed .. Thanks ...

Oh its a 110 , td5 defender ...

My rough rule of thumb has always been, so long as the turbine blades are not touching the casing, and there is not loads of oil about, it is good to go again.

we was oil free and the play was minimal .. I will check it again in 6 months ... Cheers ..
