After replacing top and bottom pins and bearings Britpart TAR10040 kit, it would appear that the hub is sitting too high in relation to the swivel.
With the stub axle fitted and the top swivel pins not fully tightened the drive shaft is centred as it exits the stub axle.
When the swivel pin bolts are tightened up the drive shaft is at an incline towards the 12 o'clock position.
It still turns and moves in and out a touch but is about 1mm from the stub axle.
So, the question is are the Britpart pins and bearings to blame ?
Should I just bite the bullet and get Genuine parts and see if they fit properly ?
Thanks for any ideas
