New to the TD5 engine as had a 200 tdi before. When I start up from cold, after a few seconds I get a groan from the nearside of the engine. (Appears to be coming from left side as I sit in cab). Goes on for about 4 seconds and then never happens when engine is warm. Its not the engine itself but more like a pump that is struggling. If it was 200tdi I would have thought it was a slipping belt on power steering pump, but not even sure where that is on the TD5 yet! Any suggestions what this might be please?
