TD5 Seat cover removal - help anyone?

Has anyone removed a seat cover from a TD5 before? Have got the seat out, but it's proving to be a hard and dangerous job (my fingers are bleeding from trying to remove the plastic!!!

Has anyone done this before, or can anyone give any advise on how to do it iwthout amputating my digits in the process????

Just finished taking the 6 & 7 leather covers off to have them retrimmed after the dog munched one of the backs.

I don't know if they are put together the same way but the key is removing the four sides attached underneath - these are made of plastic I put a screwdriver in to one end carefully and prised it over the retainer and the nused finger pressure to manoever the rest of the plastic off. There was also a black cloth covering over the foam on the base when that was peeled away it revealed small clips which hold the cover on these were easily removed with a screwdriver. It did take me a couple of hours to strip each one but after they were recovered the job was worth it.......I only cut myself once
