Hi guys,

My 03 disco td5 just cranks & wont start ...

When the ignition is turned on there is no fuel pump activation, no ecu light & nanocom wont communicate. I also cant do the purge procedure by pumping the pedal as the ecu light doesnt come on ... I have checked the ecu plugs, all fuses & replaced all relays from my other td5 (that runs) and still NOTHING!

My ecu is NNW & my other running disco td5 is also NNW, so i swapped that over also to rule out a faulty ecu and its still doing the exact same thing!

Anyone any ideas as to what to check next, im at my witts end!

Cheers guys

Hi, clarify few things:
I have checked the ecu plugs, all fuses & replaced all relays from my other td5 (that runs) and still NOTHING!
Hi, when you say all fuses do you mean those from the interior fusebox too?
no ecu light & nanocom wont communicate.
only the MIL("ecu light") is missing after ignition all the other warnings are working? and can you communicate with other ECUs(SLABS, BCU, etc)?

btw is it manual or auto?

My ecu is NNW
All the ECUs have NNW on them, that's the software version, the p/n is relevant, MSB or NNN ?

FIXED!! I pulled the engine fuse board out, all wires going green/corroded underneath & one of the wires to a plug was snapped ... So i replaced a pin out the plug and hey presto!

She fired first twirl !

Thanks for the suggestions guys!

Ever thought of giving the local archaeology club a ring, they clean that up in no time ... and if they find any 10mm sockets you get them back ...
